    • The Center for International Education: A Cambridge Associate School is the only full Cambridge magnet senior high school in Miami. Dedicated exclusively to the Cambridge AICE program, CIE offers students in grades 9–12 a rigorous, globally recognized curriculum that can earn them up to 45 college credits and an international diploma. With a focus on academic excellence, flexibility, and real-world readiness, CIE partners with organizations like Baptist Health, Homestead Air Reserve Base, and Miami Dade College to provide students with valuable internship opportunities, hands-on experience, and opportunities to earn college credits.
  • Criteria: 
    • Admission is open to students across Miami-Dade County through the School Choice Magnet application, available annually from October 1 to January 15 via YourChoiceMiami.org. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following academic and conduct standards:
      • Minimum 2.5 GPA in core academic subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies) for the previous year and the first grading period of the current year.
      • Minimum 2.0 GPA in conduct in core subjects over the same period.
      • Effort grades of “2” or higher in all core academic classes.
      • No more than 10 unexcused absences in the previous year and no more than 5 in the first semester of the current year.
