Overview
Early admission is a form of dual enrollment through which eligible secondary students enroll in a postsecondary institution on a full-time basis in courses that are creditable toward the high school diploma and the associate or baccalaureate degree. A student must enroll in a minimum of 12 college credit hours per semester or the equivalent to participate in the early admission program; however, a student may not be required to enroll in more than 15 college credit hours per semester or the equivalent.
Anyone interested in Early Admissions must be a Future Senior, Have a 3.5 unweighted GPA, and Your Cambridge Diploma.
Dual Enrollment is a way for student to take MDC courses while continuing their high school diploma at CIE. Dual enrollment student continue to attend CIE full time.
Requirements
- If you want to get started with DUAL ENROLLMENT: MUST HAVE A 3.0 UNWEIGHTED GPA
- Future Seniors ONLY – Early Admissions: MUST HAVE 3.5 UNWEIGHTED GPA & CAMBRIDGE DIPLOMA – INFORMATION & STEPS
- Early Admission Requirement: 100 community services hours
